Small items that can be carried into the store...
We accept consignments by appointments only. Mon. & Weds 10:00 to 2:00, Tues. & Thurs. 2:00 to 6:00 and Sat. 10:00 to 12:00. We promise we will do our best to sell your items at the highest possible profit for you, personally respond to your concerns and always be honest and straightforward with you. A sale price will then be established based on factors such as market demand, brand, quality, and condition. If you decide to sell your item at Fabulous Finds, we will ask you to sign a consignment agreement.
Large items that require delivery...
There are two convenient ways to contact us:
1. By phone (336) 992-4550 to discuss your consignment items. We can stop by your location to view the items and give you an estimate on value.
2. You may also send us an email notification prior to scheduling any deliveries. Please send an email to fabulousfindsdecor@embarqmail.com with the following information:
- Your Name and Phone Number
- Description of the item including brand or manufacture
- Age of the item
- Digital Photograph (as an email attachment)
A member of our sales team will then contact you to advise you if your items are suitable for sale in our store. If accepted, we will give you an estimated selling price range that is contingent on a physical examination of the item. If you are ready to sell immediately, we will schedule a date for you to have your items delivered to our store.
How the consignment process works...
- Consignors must first sign a Consignment Agreement, which defines the terms of consignment at Fabulous Finds.
- Length of time for furniture consignments is 90 days. You are paid 50% of the final sale price. Fabulous Finds uses the following price adjustment schedule for furniture. Furniture that has not sold will be marked down by 10% at 30 and 60 days during the 90 day consignment period. At the end of 90 days the consignor will be notified to either pick-up or donate their unsold furniture.
- We do provide a pick-up and or delivery service (2 guys & a truck) for a minimum charge of $40 - $60 depending on your location and how many pcs. Large Furniture items must be pre-approved before they are brought in. You can bring us a picture of the items or send us a photo by email to fabulousfinddecor@embarqmail.com. If you have several pieces of furniture and prefer we see first to give you an estimate, you may make an appointment with the owner.
- Length of time for everything else consigned is 60 days. You are paid 50% of the consignment price on items priced and sold for forty-five dollars or more and 40% for items of lesser value. If you would like to retrieve any unsold items, please do so by the 60th day. This date will be clearly stated on your drop off receipt. If you don’t wish to pick up the remaining unsold items, they become the property of Fabulous Finds after the 60th day and will be donated or disposed of, or drastically reduced for sale.
- The item will be displayed in the showroom at all times.
- Spring and Summer Items – January thru July
- Fall and Winter Items – August thru December
- Holiday/Christmas Items – October 15th thru November 30th.
- A $10 Fee is charged for items and furniture picked up before the consignment period expires.
- Checks can be picked up the first week of each month for the previous month’s sales. You may use your consignor account credit anytime during the month on store purchases.
- The consignor will pay an initial fee of $5.00. This fee is renewable annually.
